How will specimens be collected?

There are 2 ways specimens can be collected. You can come to our collection center in Farmers Branch and a healthcare professional can collect your sample. If you are a business, you can schedule our team of healthcare professionals to come and collect samples at your location.

What is CAP accreditation?

According to the College of American Pathologists, “the CAP Laboratory Accreditation Program's goal is to improve patient safety by advancing the quality of pathology and laboratory services through education, standard setting, and ensuring laboratories meet or exceed regulatory requirements.” CAP accreditation helps labs meet regulatory requirements by ensuring compliance and maintaining the accuracy of test results to ensure accurate diagnoses for patients.

What is CLIA Certification?

The Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) regulate laboratory testing and require clinical laboratories to be certified by the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) before they can accept human samples for diagnostic testing.

How do I access my lab results?

When you register for testing, we capture your email address. When your results are ready, we email you a unique verification code to login to our Patient Portal to access your lab results.

How long does the testing actually take?

Your testing is performed in the Dallas area so it is not shipped out. This allows us to provide next day results which is usually 24 hours or less for the COVID-19 PCR testing. The COVID-19 IgG antibody test is much more rapid and can be ready within 1 hour of specimen blood draw.
